The resolution of a copyright dispute between Kwame Mickey, a Ghanaian music producer, and Team Eternity Ghana, whom he accused of utilizing 'Defe Defe' lyrics in their new song, has been disclosed.
The issue that arose concerning Team Eternity Ghana's use of a portion of the existing song titled 'Defe Defe' in their new song also titled 'Defe Defe' has been amicably resolved," the renowned music producer said in a statement released through his OFM firm. Kwame Mickey provides to Team Eternity Ghana the non-executive right to use those lyrics derived from the old song in the new song', the statement released on July 1 said. "The parties have duly entered into a Licence Agreement."
