President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the new Deputy Inspector General of Police, according to a statement from the Office of the President.
COP Yohuno, a seasoned and experienced police officer, has served in various capacities within the Ghana Police Service, including as the Director-General of the Police Intelligence and Professional Standards Bureau.

As Deputy Inspector General of Police, COP Yohuno will support the Inspector General of Police in leading the service and implementing strategies to combat crime, improve police-community relations, and promote a culture of professionalism and accountability within the service.
