ELECTION 2024: A man by name Ibrahim Mohammed, well known as Commander Kanawu, who happens to be a supporter of the opposition NDC, has been declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service.



The Ghana Police Service is assuring the general public a reward of GHS50,000 for anyone who can assist them with information that will lead to his arrest.

The suspect, in a video, recorded himself accused the Interior Minister and the IGP of falsely recruiting individuals into the police service to influence the upcoming General elections.


 The latter part of the video saw him threaten to shoot and harm some public officials, where he made mention of the IGP Dr.Akuffo Dampare, the Interior Minister Henry Quartey, and the chairperson of the Electoral Commission Madam Jean Mensah, and other officials.


He further warned these public officials, and he declared the 2024 General Elections as 'All Die be Die'.

He further dared them to arrest him by stating, "If You Like Come And Arrest Me."


The Ghana Police Service is committed to promoting peace before, during, and after the General Elections.
